Historic Walk of the Cemetery

Spring Historic Walk

Saturday, May 20 10 - 11:30 am


Meet at the arch of the cemetery, rain or shine


Join us for a scenic walk through the cemetery t0 learn about the history of the cemetery and some of the notable people buried here.  Tour lasts 1.5 hours. Free event.  Wear your walking shoes. 


Come walk in the cemetery and enjoy a walking tour by our Historian, Jim Batchelder and Board Member Martha Tubinis.   The tour will also include a walk through of the beautiful Chapel at West Parish.  Experience the Tiffany Glass windows and enjoy hearing the Chapel organ. 

No RSVP is required.

Annual Memorial Service in the Chapel

Sunday, May 21 3:00 in the Chapel at West Parish

We honor the memory of those we have lost in the past year that are buried in the cemetery.  Reverend Katrina Wuensch of West Parish Church will lead the service. All are welcome.

Children's Garden Party

Saturday, June 3 10:00 am - 12:00

Join us for arts and crafts, spring activities, and enjoy some refreshments at the Children's Garden at West Parish. Youngsters can pet baby farm animals from Enchanted Animal Farm. The event is free and is designed for children 8 and under.


Lantern Festival

Saturday, June 24 fropm 7:30 - 9:00 pm

The community is welcome to experience this spectacular lighting event based on an anciet Asian ritual.  Participants can decorate lanterns to send messages of faith, hope, love or peace or remember a loved one as we launch the lanterns on the pond at 9:00 pm.  Entertainment starts at 7:30 pm. Bring a lawn chair or blanket.  Admission is free.  The cost to decorate and launch a lantern is $10.
